Betting In Blackjack
If you want to increase your blackjack winnings and reduce your losses, a good betting system can be of great help. Before applying any strategy it is necessary for you to learn the basic rules of the game in order to understand the odds and the payouts. Once you are familiar with the game rules and strategies you are then ready to make the most out of the game and make some seriously good earned cash while betting in blackjack. There are many betting blackjack systems you can choose from, what follows is a short review of them.
The Martingale System
The Martingale has a long history and is used in many other games. The core of the blackjack system is that the player has to double the bet after a loss. In doing so, once you win, the payout will cover the money lost and give a earning equal to the initial bet. The system has some drawbacks: if the table you are playing at has a bet limit, you might keep on loosing, and reach the limit without being able to win back your wages. Moreover, the Martingale can be very expensive.
As one can guess from the name, this system works the opposite way with respect to the Martingale system. Betting in blackjack using the reverse Martingale, the blackjack player has to double the bet after every winning hand. We do not suggest this betting strategy because with one loss your can give away all your winnings.
Advanced Betting System
This blackjack system is very easy to use and has proved to be successful. The player decides the minimum and maximum bet for the game. The lower amount will be placed after a loss and a higher amount after a good hand. The system doesn’t require a big bankroll, and is very easy to apply.
The bet progression 1, 2, 3, 5 back to 1, is the base of this system. It is often used by blackjack players at Las Vegas betting tables. Starting from a low bet, the amount increase to the next level only after a winning hand. In case of a loss, you have to go back to the original amount. The system works well both with a winning streak and in case of a loss, but has a drawback when a win and a loss are alternating. With this situation we suggest you bet the same amount on every hand.
This blackjack system is called also the Cancellation system. The player has to use pen and paper and write a sequence of numbers, for example 1, 2, 2, 3, 4. The first and the last number summed together are the initial bet (in this case $5). In case of a win the first and the last number of the sequence are deleted and the game continues with the new outside numbers. When the player looses, the value of the bet has to be added at the end of the number sequence. In our example the new series will be 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Reverse Labouchere System
Unlike the system described above it is the winning bet that is added at the end of the number sequence. In case of a loss the external number is deleted and the bet restarts from the remaining ones.
