Tiger Woods denied to take on the $75million offer by the online casino operator Paddy Power. Wood’s representatives said that he was not interested in the deal. You may know that many of his long time sponsors have deserted him after the sex scandal that broke out that almost recked his marriage to his wife Elin Woods. I wonder what the betting odds are of him saving his marriage?

Paddy Power negotiated with International Management Group who are Tiger’s agents and they were all excited about roping the Tiger deal. Paddy power was thrilled to get Tiger in, as it would be the biggest deal that they have ever signed. It would have fetched Tiger an upfront payment of as high as $5million and further payments would have been released based on play results. IMG denied that any deal was going on with Paddy power.

PGA officials were also against its members from signing any deals with online casino operators as it was against the membership policy. Many of Tiger’s sponsors had dropped Tiger from their list the latest being Gatorade which pulled back from his sponsorship. As for now Tiger seem to be sticking with the woods until he makes a comeback, who knows!
